LeadVault

We Believe Every Business Deserves to Be Found — and to Find.

The Founding Story

LeadVault didn't start with a pitch deck. It started with phone calls.

For years, our founder Idowu Ehimigbai worked with Nigerian import/export businesses — many of them run by Nigerians living in the United States — on the hardest problem in international trade: finding counterparties you can trust. Genuine buyers who pay. Real suppliers who ship. Freight clients who actually move cargo.

The internet was full of "buyer lists" that led nowhere — or worse, to scams. So Idowu did it the hard way: sourcing contacts freshly, verifying them personally, and matching traders deal by deal. It worked. The referrals multiplied. The thank-you messages accumulated. And a realization formed: if finding verified prospects is this hard for international traders, it's this hard for everyone.

The method became tools. The tools became a pipeline. The pipeline became LeadVault — a B2B Prospect Intelligence company built on that same discipline: take a specific requirement, research it properly, and deliver prospects that are real, fresh, and ready. International trade was where that discipline was proven first.

The same discipline has since grown into a full research ladder: custom prospect data researched to a defined specification, qualification and verification for requirements a standard filter can't test, market and ICP research for businesses entering a new territory, and — for teams that want the research put into action — intelligence-led outreach. Different projects need different depths of research; the underlying discipline is the same one Idowu proved first, deal by deal, in international trade.

From Data Delivery to Prospect Intelligence

LeadVault's work developed around increasingly specific research requirements: identify the right companies, qualify them against a real business condition, find the relevant people, verify the available information and deliver the result in a format the customer can use.

That progression is why Prospect Intelligence now sits at the center of the LeadVault proposition.

Our Vision

To bridge the gap between businesses and the customers they deserve — everywhere. A world where any business, from a Houston export firm to a London e-commerce brand to a Lagos agency, can access clean, current, expertly-prepared data and reach its market with confidence.

Our Mission

To deliver professionally handled, freshly sourced, rigorously verified data to businesses worldwide — combining custom-built technology, deep market knowledge, and strategist-level guidance on every engagement.

Our Philosophy

A business can't act on an opportunity it hasn't found yet. A shop without customers is a farm without rain. We exist to research who's actually out there — not just hand over a list and call it done.

What We Believe

Good Research Starts With a Clear Question

A vague target produces vague results. Defining the qualification criteria is part of the work.

Relevance Matters More Than Empty Volume

More rows do not help when the wrong companies are included.

Evidence Matters When the Qualification Is Complex

Where a project requires evidence, the customer should be able to understand the basis for inclusion.

The Right Contact Depends on the Opportunity

A job title should not replace thinking about responsibility.

Data Is an Input, Not the Business Outcome

A prospect record does not guarantee a sale. It helps a business make a better targeting decision.

Trust Requires Limits

We would rather explain what research can and cannot establish than make a promise the data cannot support.

What Makes Us Different

1. Fresh, on-request research — not a stored, aging database.

2. Engineering culture — we build our own verification and filtering tools, and new ones for every new challenge.

3. Strategist service — every engagement includes human judgment, not just a download link.

4. Emerging-market depth — coverage of African and frontier markets many database platforms cover thinly, from a company with roots on the ground.

5. Built on real, hands-on trade work, not a pitch deck — the founder was closing deals for clients long before this website existed.

How We Work With Customers

Some customers need a small one-time dataset. Others need complex research. Others need recurring prospect supply or outreach support. The engagement should match the problem rather than forcing every customer into the same product.

Meet the Founder

Idowu Ehimigbai — Founder & CEO

Idowu built LeadVault from hands-on work researching and connecting businesses with buyers, suppliers, and decision-makers across international markets.

That work exposed a problem that appears across industries: businesses don't necessarily struggle to find a list of contacts. They struggle to find the right contacts, with enough current information to make the list useful.

LeadVault was built around solving that problem through fresh research, structured filtering, and verification before delivery.

"Every business needs us — or our data. I built LeadVault so that no business, anywhere, has to grow blind. If it leaves the vault, it's clean, it's fresh, and it's real."

His experience spans:

  • International trade research — sourcing and verifying buyers, suppliers, and freight partners for import/export businesses.
  • Data and deliverability work — building a verification-first sending process: list sorting, dead-address removal, deliverability checks.
  • Cross-industry prospect research — applying the same research discipline to real estate, investment/investor outreach, and financial and payroll services.

A Note on Trust

We prefer defensible language over exaggerated promises. Business data changes. Public information can be incomplete. Qualified prospects are not guaranteed buyers. Our role is to research carefully, communicate the limits honestly and deliver useful work within the agreed scope.

Data Handled Professionally — Our Standards

We source from publicly available information, licensed partners, and direct research under a strict internal policy: public business data only, no sensitive personal information, alignment with the Nigeria Data Protection Act and international standards including GDPR principles, honoring removal requests promptly, and screening out orders with fraudulent or deceptive intent. Datasets are protected with encryption, access controls, and secure delivery. Full policies:Privacy ·Data Sourcing Policy ·Removal Request
