Data Sourcing Policy
Last updated: August 15, 2026
This policy explains how LeadVault sources and handles the business contact data that appears in the datasets we deliver to clients — separate fromour Privacy Policy, which covers information from visitors to this website and people who submit our forms.
What We Source
LeadVault provides business contact data only — names, job titles, company names, business email addresses, business phone numbers (where available), locations, and industries of professionals and companies relevant to a client's specification. We do not collect or sell sensitive personal information: no government ID numbers, financial account details, health information, or similarly sensitive categories of personal data.
Where It Comes From
- Publicly available information — business listings, professional profiles, company websites, and other public sources.
- Licensed partners — data providers we've vetted and contracted with.
- Direct research — our team and tools compiling records to a client's specific request.
Verification Before Delivery
Every record passes through our in-house verification pipeline before it reaches a client:
- Email verification — deliverability checks (mailbox and domain verification) across all major provider types (Office 365, Google Workspace, and others), confirming the address is real and deliverable.
- Bounce & hygiene screening — dormant mailboxes and dead domains are filtered out before delivery.
- Duplicate removal and basic data-quality checks.
Compliance Alignment
Our sourcing and handling practices are built around: public business data only, no sensitive personal information, alignment with the principles of the Nigeria Data Protection Act and the EU GDPR (including a legitimate-interest basis for B2B contact data), honoring removal requests promptly, and compliance with CAN-SPAM and applicable anti-spam law for any campaign we run on a client's behalf.
Order Screening
We review incoming orders and decline any request we reasonably believe is intended for fraudulent, deceptive, or harassing purposes, or that targets individuals or categories of data outside the scope described above.
If You're an Individual Whose Business Contact Information Appears in Our Data
If you'd like a record about you removed from our sourcing pipeline and any dataset we hold, or have questions about how your business contact information was sourced, submit a request on ourRemoval Request page. We process removal requests promptly and will not knowingly re-source a record you've asked us to remove.
Data Security
Datasets are protected with encryption, access controls, and secure delivery methods from the point of sourcing through delivery to a client.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our sourcing practices or the law changes. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
